Academic Visits

Scheduled academic visits will allow academics from each national centre to visit other universities within the Centre of Excellence with the aim of providing joint supervision for graduate level students and undertaking guest lecturing in taught programmes. This will be combined with joint supervision and joint research activities to achieve the maximum results from reseources, enabling lecturers who are travelling for joint supervision to participate in guest lecturing and research activities while at the partner institution.

The permits both guest lecturing and the use of video-conferencing facilities, enabling partners to include topics in their courses that capitalise on the specific expertise of other Centres. These visits also allow academics to formulate ideas for further collaboration in teaching and research across the region.
