Professor Dai Bingran
Dai Bingran is the Director of the Centre for European Studies and Deputy Director for the Institute of World Economy at Fudan University in Shanghai. He has studied at the London School of Economics, undertaken a Jean Monnet Fellowship in Florence and a five month in service training at the DG for Agriculture. In 2001 he was awarded a Jean Monnet Chair in Economics and in 2008 was awarded the European Union's Jean Monnet Prize.
Professor Dai is an internationally respected expert in EU economy and economic policies. Current research includes the Lisbon Agenda and EU-China relations. He is currently supervising over 35 postgraduate students and is the Secretary General of the Chinese Society for EU Studies. |
