Professor Toshiro Tanaka

Professor Tanaka has been teaching the Politics of European Integration at the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law and Graduate School of Law and Political Science of Keio University since 1975. In 2003 he recieved a Jean Monnet Chair ad personam and has been selected as one of the twenty Jean Monnet success stories in 2008. Professor Tanaka has been a guest lecturer at several other universities, including the university of Tokyo and Hitotsubashi University. He frequently presents at conferences both within Japan and abroad at acedmic meetings such as ISA, NESCA, EUSA-Asia-Pacific, European Studies in Asia (ESiA) and also at the University of Melbourne.
